Scrip News March 2009

Greetings! Just an update for you on Scrip. The new Save Mart Grocery Community Partner Cards are in and available for your use! They replace the old Albertson's cards and work the same way. Just have the cashier scan them every  time you shop. At the end of the month, Save Mart will cut St. Andrew's a check for a percent of our purchases. Every purchase, big or little counts, so scan those cards! Please see me in the social hall after church, or call me to have one sent to you if you are out of our area. I am in the church directory. Thanks for supporting St. Andrew's!  --Julie Salazar

Grocery Cards

Where do you buy groceries? If you buy your groceries at Bel Air, Raley’s, Nob Hill, or Safeway, you could be earning $$$$$ for St. Andrew’s!  All of these stores have established an easy scrip program for schools and churches. It is an easy way to raise funds for the church just by doing your everyday shopping!

If you shop at Safeway and have a Safeway Club Card, all we need to do is register the card number to St. Andrew’s. Then each time they scan your card, Safeway will donate a percent of your purchases to St. Andrew’s! It’s that easy. Then each fall, you’ll get a renewal postcard in the mail to return and just like that you are good to go for another year.

Bel Air, Raley’s, and Nob Hill have a similar program. It is called the Quality of Life Card.  Just pick up a card from me and we’ll register your card to St. Andrew’s. Once the card is registered, St. Andrew’s will receive a donation from Raley’s, Bel Air, or Nob Hill each time you use the card.

If you are not currently registered with any of these programs, you can sign up on the eScrip website, see Julie Salazar in the social hall after church, or call her (she’s in the directory).

We have raised thousands of $$$$ in the past using these programs, they really work!!!
